MemorialsDirect2u have now been supplying memorials and stonemasonry for 4 years in Dorset, Somerset, Hampshire and Wiltshire, Over the last 38 years I have personally completed thousands of memorials for people all over the South and Southwest of England in churchyards and cemeteries.

I am a locally based business in Weymouth Dorset and have over 38 years personal hands on experience covering all aspects of the craft, I worked for the same company in Dorchester for 33 years gaining vast experience and knowledge of all things relative to monumental stonemasonry including masonry, carving ornamentation, letter carving and fixing memorials in churchyards and cemeteries all over the south and southwest.

After 10 years I played a major role within the company when we relocated to Grimstone just outside of Dorchester and was promoted to foreman, 2 years later I was promoted to memorial works manager and held the position until I left in 2006, my role was to oversee the manufacture of memorials through every stage ensuring the quality was second to none when it left the factory.

Whilst working there until I parted company, I carried out all of the hand carved lettering and have inscribed many plaques and stones for prestigious projects all over the UK some being unveiled by Her Majesty the Queen and other members of the Royal family, other works carried out by myself on behalf of other companies have been featured on TV and in books published on the subject. 

I still work in Weymouth, Dorset supplying handcrafted memorials and enjoy designing ornamentation and creating the inscriptions for all kinds of memorials in granite, marble, stone and slate, which I then inscribe on the memorial to the personal requirements of the customer.
